Outdoor Equity Coalition Membership Pledge

I pledge to uphold the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the Outdoor Equity Coalition. As a member, I commit to:

• Promoting Justice: I will advocate for fairness and equality in access to outdoor spaces and resources, particularly for marginalized communities.
• Promoting Diversity: I will actively support efforts to increase representation and access to outdoor spaces for individuals from historically marginalized communities.
• Advancing Equity: I will work towards equitable distribution of resources, opportunities, and benefits related to outdoor activities and environmental stewardship.
• Ensuring Inclusion: I will foster a welcoming environment where all individuals feel valued, respected, and included in outdoor experiences.
  Promoting Belonging: I will strive to create spaces where everyone, regardless of background or identity, feels a sense of belonging and connection to nature.

By agreeing to this pledge, I dedicate myself and my organization to contributing positively to the mission of the Outdoor Equity Coalition and to actively pursuing these principles in all aspects of our work.
